Process Stats and battery consumption

  • Go to settings and select enable developer option > about device and tap on build number until you see that developer option is enabled.
  • Go to settings > developer option > process stats which shows the time of your running key apps. Now Tap on any app to view RAM used by the app.
  • Now go to settings > battery and then click on any app to view how much battery is used by them.

  • Go to Application manager and disable it > settings > application > application manager followed by tapping on the app and then tapping disable.
  • With an update in the Lollipop android version, you can directly close or stop the recent app by tapping on the “recent app” navigation button (present in the right of the home button) on your phone followed by swiping left or right your recently used apps.
  • Uninstall or delete the app, settings > applications > application manager followed by tapping on the app and then tap on uninstall.
  • Force Stop the app, settings > applications > application manager and now swipe right to the running tab followed by tapping on the app and then tap on “Force Stop”.

If you don’t have any idea about the app or service, then don’t stop it unless and until it’s using lots of RAM memory or battery as I don’t think risking your phone is a good idea.
